Join Julie (The Dance School) and Colin (West Lancs Tango) at The Temperance Institute, Southport, where our mission is to inspire and teach the art of Argentine Tango Nuevo in a warm, welcoming and fun environment, sharing the dance’s rich culture and elegance.
Our classes take place over a rolling 6 week course, welcoming absolute beginners and improvers.
The structure of our classes is as follows – with some flexibility:-
7.30 – 7.50 pm an invitation for students to practice (from week 2), with instruction if required
7.50 pm til 8.30 pm structured class time
8.30 til 8.50pm an opportunity to dance and practice what you have learned in class and to explore your own skills and development, and have fun.
8.50 til 9.30 pm structured class time with an opportunity for practice at the end of the class

Our courses are taught in 6 week blocks, to allow new absolute beginners to come along and feel comfortable – no pressure.

Class fee: £8 per person, pay on the door.
Pay in advance for 6 classes and get 1 class free
